Ajit Jhaveri

The man who started it all, Mr. Ajit Jhaveri has been responsible for the culture, principles and value system at Jay Jhaveri & Company. The credit for laying down the foundation of the Jay Jhaveri & Company culture lies with him. A strong believer in the organic growth for all employees, he is easily approachable to all in the organization lending a peaceful ear to everyone around.
Ajit commenced his professional practice in the year 1986 and has over 25 years ofextensive experience with in-depth experience in representing Tax matters before various tax authorities including Commissioner Appeals, Additional & Deputy commissioner, Members of Tax Tribunal & Settlement Commission in additions to normal tax matters & tax audits. He has handled special audits assignments of direct and indirect Tax as well as search & survey matters.

Jay Jhaveri

Jay heads the Tax & Regulatory practise of the Firm. Prior to co-founding the firm, he has worked with the audit, tax and advisory teams at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) and BMR Advisors where he has acquired extensive knowledge in the areas of taxation, transaction advisory, audit & assurance and valuation.
Jay is a gold medalist (MBA) from SP Jain, Rankholder Chartered Accountant, Rankholder Company Seceratary and a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA,USA)

Advisory Team :

Heta Jhaveri

Heta is a Manager in the Deloitte Direct Tax team based at Mumbai. She has an experience of nearly 6 year in the field of direct taxes & exchange control, international taxation and advisory on domestic & cross border transaction. She has been involved in inbound investment related advisory assignments for clients from various sectors. Further, she has been representing clients before tax authorities for assessment proceedings.

Bhavik Chokshi

Bhavik is a Rankholder Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA ,USA) Bhavik has worked with the investment banking teams at Morgan Stanley and JM Financial, where was involved in several complex engagements in Private Equity Syndication, Project Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. He is also a visiting faculty at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management (JBIMS)
